Last month I did my first ever shoot for Confetti magazine's summer edition, and it's nothing short of STUNNING! And what better place to host a beauty shoot than. The Chocolate Factory is one of Dublin's most creative venues! What was once an actual chocolate factory, is now a reinvigorated building, just brimming with charm. Confetti's own editorial assistant, Aimeé Moriarty, put together a dream team of hair, makeup, nail and photography professionals, and together we created something really special.
First up, was model Rebecca O Keefe from 1st Option Models Dublin, who wore Gelish She's My Beauty , a firm favourite this year, especially among celebrities such as Vogue Williams. This natural nude complemented Rebecca's paired back beauty, creating a classic, feminine bridal look. Each bride was given a couple of different looks, so it was important that when I was choosing a colour, I chose one to complement each.
Next, we had Juudit Siibak from Distinct Model Management for whom I went with another super popular colour this season, Gelish Pink Smoothie. I've yet to see many brides opt away from the classic French manicure for their big day but this gorgeous girly pink is sure to offset any bouquet. Just see how well it works agains the flower wall?
Speaking of which, this impressive piece was put together by none other than Miss Daisy Florist and is available to rent for your wedding day! Again, it was important to chose a shade that was going to work well with each of the hair and makeup looks for the bride, and Pink Smoothie was just the ticket.
The Confetti summer issue is on shelves now, and it's AMAZING, so grab yours before it's sold out! Photographer on the day was the incredible Anita Shadowska.
